THANK GOD!

Thanks a lot, Ya Allah!!!
Only that I can say to explain all things I got in here.

I have been living with my new (host)family. I think, they are a crazy family :) I LOVE THEM!!! A LOT!!!

Yesterday, Wed, August 26, 2009, I went to one of the AFS volunteers' house to talk about my program for the next one year, so that night I stayed overnight at his house with my friend from Germany, Hendrik.
It was my first time being away from my host family since then. I really miss them, my host dad, my host mom, also my sweet host sister.

I went to Camden City to go to Bald Rocks Trail. I walked for 5 miles to get to the top of the hill. Was feeling really tired because it was Ramadhan so I was in a fasting for the whole day. But after I got to the top of the hill, SUBHANALLAH, AWESOME!!! I saw so beautiful ocean and some islands around it. And also one thing that made me wanna cry: there was a very wide green area. I asked the volunteer what was that, he said it is actually some cities in Maine; it looks like a beautiful green forest if we see it from above. Wow! I never think that I can find such a view here!!!

I came home exhausted and felt so cold because of the weather.

Today!
Volley ball practice as usual! 10:00 - 11:30 AM. Had a conditioning session, run run run!
Went back home and asked by my host fam: How was the volleyball going on Silvia?. I said: so bad :D

The thing that we can learn from a school in the USA is they give more attention to the students, such as for the athletes, they give us knowledge about Athletes food and drink, which I never had it before :) They also invited athletes families to have a dinner together and to discuss on how sports in school can exist and achieve more.

They have a very big gymnasium as well, just like Usmar Ismail Hall in Jakarta.

Everything is just different here!!!

Love U SMAZAPO.
Love U Cony High School.

WOW...

Welcome Silvia...
Welcome Silvia...
Welcome in the USA, enjoy your trip! :)

Sering banget aku dengar dari orang-orang (asing) disini.

Wow! Pertama kali aku datang kesini, aku ngerasa aneeeeeeeeeeehhhhhhhhhh banget, aku pengen nemuin sesuatu yang sering aku temuin di Indonesia, tau gak??!!! SAMPAH. Tapi aku engga nemuin sampah di tengah jalan, di pinggir jalan, dimana aja, aku ngerasa aneh bgt, iya sekaget itu :))

START!!!
Aku nyampe di USA tanggal 9 Agustus 2009, setelah menempuh perjalanan panjaaaaaaaaaaang banget mulai dari bandara Soekarno - Hatta Jakarta terus ke Bandara Kuala Lumpur Malaysia, lanjut ke Frankfrut Germany. Hingga sampailah di Dullas Washington DC, USA.

Perjalanan belum berhenti. Dari Bandara Dullas aku dijemput AFS Volunteeer, naek bus ke Hotel Hilton, busnya pun luarrrr biasa, bedaaaaaaaaaa bgt :D
Di Hilton, aku ada kegiatan orientasi YES 3 hari sampe tgl 12 Agustus, disana aku ketemu sama anak Saudi Arabia, Egypt, India, USA, dllllllll. Hotelnya keren banget :)))

Wah, gak tau deh disana ngapain aja :D

Disini ntu, orang2 pke Bahasa Inggris (yaiyalah...)
Pusing banget kadang2, mulai harus mendengarkan, menerjemahkan, jawab pertanyaannya, karena orang USA tuh ngomongnya banyak buanget,, tanya22222222222 trus (hahahahahahahaha)
Tapi aku seneng bgt, npa?! karna dsni hotspot senegara!!!! (bagaikan,, hehehe, cz dmana aja bs ngenet, gak lelet loh!!!) Ini aja aku nulis sambil tiduran di taman sama teman2 yang lain :D
Pokoke, yang jelas, semuanya beda disini...
